Sydney Sweep and Scrub: Prepare Your Carpark for Line Marking

14 May 2020

There’s nothing like freshly marked lines in your Sydney carpark.

Thankfully, at Sydney Sweep and Scrub, we’re experienced in providing a professional, efficient line marking service.

However, before we can begin to mark the lines in your carpark, there are a few things we’ll probably need to do.

Therefore, here’s a little more about our process.

Blasting or Grinding

Before line marking can take place, it’s essential that you ensure there is nothing left on your concrete surfaces.

In a carpark, there may be tough to remove pollutants like epoxy glue, old lines or paint.

Therefore, at Sydney Sweep and Scrub, we’ll blast or grind concrete surfaces where necessary, to remove these elements.

If we don’t, the new lines will not bond to your concrete surfaces properly.

Mechanical Sweeping

It’s essential that you have your carpark thoroughly swept before new lines can be painted in your facility.

Dust, dirt and all kinds of other particles will inevitably coat the floors of your carpark… this is just the nature of the type of environment.

We’re unable to mark lines effectively without these particles being removed. Thankfully, we have the answer: our cutting-edge sweep and scrub machines.

With our ride-on machines, we’ll pick up 99.9% of dust and dirt on your concrete surfaces.

At Sydney Sweep and Scrub, we specialise in carpark cleaning and warehouse cleaning. Therefore, you can rest easy when we clean your carpark.

Mechanical Scrubbing

After a thorough sweep, we’ll then scrub your space.

Our cutting-edge ride-on machines are extremely efficient in removing all manner of tough dirt and stains from your concrete surfaces.

Moreover, sustainability is always an important part of what we do. Therefore, we’re proud to say that our machines conserve water and use limited, eco-friendly chemicals.

As well as that, our ride-on machines run off LPG, making them greener.
